(What, you were expecting a human family?????)
(Okay, okay, scroll down to see it. Newest pictures at the bottom....)
Let me explain a little about myself. I live alone, except for my 3 cats. I love
cats. I figure that I'm going to become one of those freaky "cat ladies"
when I grow up, that all the kids in the neighborhood are scared of. On the top of this page is of course a picture of my kitties - a rare moment when they are all actually in
the same vicinity of one another! Of course they're all ignoring one another....they don't generally all get along. At the top is
Mouse.
On the right is
Mocha,
and in the front center is
Robin Hood.
Carl, my brother, has berated me several times for not including any pictures of, or even information about, my family in my webspace. My cats were featured prominantly, my house, my ice skating activites, even my tattoos, but no human family members. However, as he does not even have a webpage of any sort, I feel he has no right to complain.
Good news though: after some time, I've finally gotten around to posting some family stuff, and here it is. Ta-da!
This was taken Easter day -- April 15, 2001; my entire immediate family. Left to right, we have Lynn, Carl, Karen, Margaret, and Paul. Also known as Sister, Brother, Me, Mom, and Dad.

Here are all three "kids", enjoying Siblings Weekend 2001. We visited Las Vegas - this was taken March 30 2001, on the Hover Dam.

In an unprecedented event, the majority of my father's family journeyed to Michigan to help him celebrate his 60th birthday. This was taken October 20, 2001 - the day before his birthday. Look, there's 11 of us! (Click on the picture for a 618K version.)

In honor of Siblings Weekend 2002, my brother got married on July 27, 2002. It was a simple ceremony at Chicago City Hall, but very nice. Here he is with his lovely new wife. Naturally I took tons of pictures,

to see all of them.

Just a week after Carl's wedding, my cousin Vince got married in Caracas, Venezuela. I didn't make it down for that, but afterward his parents hosted a reception at their home in Maryland which I was able to attend.
Lots of family pictures to enjoy!

The most exciting event in recent family history has been the birth of my nephew. Carl used to be "the baby" of the family. He waited 25 long years for that to change, until finally he realized he had to do it himself -- so he and Michelle brought into the world a younger member of the family, Will Oliver, on January 19, 2003.
